Ultra High PrecisionThe large format series of Ziersch surface grinding machines are designed to process large workpieces up to 78.74” (2,000 mm) wide. A heavy cast iron base provides maximum support and rigidity. Longitudinal axis slideways are hand scraped and coated with Turcite® for excellent vibration dampening, and preloaded precision linear guideways (Bosch Rexroth) and ball screws are used in the vertical and cross-axis to ensure high rigidity and accuracy. This, combined with Heidenhain measuring for precise vertical positioning, delivers high-quality grinding results.
